Dehesa : Affordable Quality Tapas

Dehesa : Affordable Quality Tapas

Once again, the Salt Yard Group (the company behind Opera Tavern, Salt Yard and Ember Yard) has brought great pleasure to my taste buds with my recent visit to Dehesa, their fourth sister restaurant. I had high expectations coming to Dehesa because having had very positive experiences at the other sister restaurants, I had no reason to doubt that the dishes I tried here would be any less amazing. Luckily, my optimism was rewarded with a remarkable dining experience.

With regard to the food, I loved how each dish exhibited balanced qualities with the execution of bold, rich yet non-overpowering flavours in addition to the fun plays on texture. Furthermore, every dish was finely presented with vibrant colour profiles and perfect portion sizes. What's even more incredible is that the feast all came down to £22pp! It simply doesn't get better than that. However, I must say that the service could've been more efficient.

In summary, Dehesa's Bib Gourmand (the near Michelin star equivalent of affordable restaurants) is very well deserved. I don't know about you but I'll definitely be returning soon!
