Trullo

Since its opening in 2010, Trullo has been serving up seasonal and simple Italian cuisine from its tucked away location in Islington. Each of the dishes exhibit well-rounded flavours and textures in addition to their modest yet appealing presentation. Restaurants like Trullo lie beyond the trappings of hype and will consistently deliver great food, friendly service and a relaxing ambience. Speaking of ambience, the restaurant's austere rustic interior is reflected in the unpretentious cuisine and provides the perfect space for indulging in a long conversation with friends and family - ideal for a weekend lunch. The highlights of the meal were the Dexter onglet (served with an incredible rosemary dressing) and the almond tart. I'll definitely be returning to try the iconic panna cotta!
